STEPS2 Resettlement Conference

The STEPS2 Resettlement project will come to an end in February 2016 so to be able to properly diseminate the findings from this project and some useful tools to help with the use of and implementation of Framework Decision 909 a conference will be held in Bucharest, Romania on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th February 2016.step2

The project has four workstreams which you can read more about on the Project Information workstream pages. From these four workstreams have come many products include training for practitioners via an e-learning module, literature assessment on the obstacles of implementing the framework decision as well as a guidance for possible solutions to these obstacles, an offender guidance handbook and information sheet for each EU member state, an information management system and guidance and victims guidance.

We hope to have the European Commission attend the conference to present and there will also be workshops to go deeper into the findings and especially help understand the products that are avilable to help with implementing the framework decision. There will also be a[anel discussion where you will be able to ask questions regarding the project, its outcomes or about the framework decision itself.

If you would be interested in attending this conference there are limited places and will be awarded to representation of member states first and then on a first come first served basis. All travel, accommodation and food is booked and paid for by the project. Once places have been allocated you will be emailed to let you know if you have a place or if unfortunately the places are full.
